The 74th Counts Family Reunion was held on August 1, 2015, at the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Tiny, Virginia. Vice President, Patty Conner, presided in place of Sue Counts and gave the welcome. The Reunion opened with a prayer by Billy Sutherland and Cliff Mahone led the pledge of allegiance. The traditional, America the Beautiful, was sung by all. Billy Counts gave a brief history of John Counts of Glade Hollow ancestors. Gail Marney gave the Sutherland family history and Patty Conner talked about the Dye family history. Family pictures were taken. The Reunion was well attended with about 65 people. This year it was combined with the Sutherland/Dye Reunion. Several people visited the Sulphur Springs One Room School and drove to the Sutherland Memorial Cemetary in Tiny. Some then went to Glade Hollow and the Counts Cemetary in Cleveland.
